The cure time of a Belzona epoxy for pipe repair depends on the product. Please refer to the product’s documentation to find the cure time. For example, Belzona 1212 cure times are as follows:

To apply a pipe repair kit, firstly wipe away excess leaking material. Use a dry rag for water or Belzona 9111 (Cleaner/ Degreaser) for other contamination. Secondly, cut off the required amount of Belzona 9611 and knead in gloved hands to a uniform grey color. Next, force the material into cracks and holes and apply pressure until the material has hardened: this is best achieved using Belzona Tourniquet. After approximately one hour, remove the tourniquet and apply Belzona 1111,1121,1221, or 1212 to secure the repair. Then, spread the Belzona onto the Belzona 9341 (Reinforcement Tape). Next, apply the bandage to the area to be repaired with the coated side adjacent to the substrate. Finally, press down firmly to fill all cracks, remove entrapped air, and ensure maximum contact.
