Belzona 5811 (Immersion Grade)

A chemical-resistant, anti-corrosion coating designed for the protection of equipment operating under immersion.
Description

A 2-part epoxy coating which provides outstanding chemical resistance and protects equipment operating under immersion in aqueous solutions up to 50°C (122°F) from the effects of corrosion. This solvent-free material can be easily applied by brush or spray to virtually any metallic and non-metallic surface, simplifying maintenance works.

Belzona 5811DW2 (DW Immersion Grade) is a variant of Belzona 5811 (Immersion Grade) approved by WRAS for contact with potable water.

  • Erosion protection against rain and debris, specifically designed for LEP
  • Outstanding adhesion to GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic)
  • Curing time is minimised to half an hour, even at temperatures as low as 5°C (41°F)
  • Excellent long-term protection against the effects of UV degradation
  • This solvent-free system is easy to mix and apply by brush, without the need for hot work
  • Long term protection of the leading edge on wind turbine blades.
  • Erosion and corrosion protection on to similar types of equipment, including fan blades
