Description

A 2-part epoxy coating for floor protection, which provides excellent chemical and abrasion resistance, and ensures a slip resistant flooring due to the incorporation of a durable aggregate. This solvent-free, anti-slip coating can be easily mixed and applied by roller on a range of surfaces including concrete and steel, and will reduce downtime due to its fast-curing properties.

Belzona 5231 (SG Laminate) is available in light or dark gray, or bright yellow for improved safety in potentially dangerous areas. Thanks to its low odour, this non-slip coating is ideally suited to be used in places such as hospitals, schools and production facilities.

An anti-slip coating is a coating with added aggregates. The combination will add grip to any surface, wet or dry creating a slip-resistant surface to traverse on.

To apply the anti-slip coating for concrete, Belzona 5231 (SG Laminate) the surface must be clean, firm, and dry. Remove any paint, tar, other coatings, and loose surface material. To mix the material, add the entire contents of the Solidifier container to the Base container. Mix thoroughly until a homogenous mix is achieved. Next, apply the mixed unit of Belzona 5231 using a short or medium nap roller. Push the product well into the surface, ensuring the substrate is completely wetted. If necessary, follow the same steps to apply a second coating once the overcoating time has passed. Please see the Instructions for Use (IFU) for more information.
