Description

Belzona 5122 (Clear Cladding) is a water-repellent, wall waterproofing breathable treatment designed to protect masonry surfaces from water penetration without altering the natural appearance of the structures, as it becomes transparent when cured.

This solvent-free, water repellent prevents spalling and cracking of surfaces such as concrete, stone and brick, while reducing dirt retention. It is supplied as a concentrate, which can be easily diluted on-site with water and applied by brush or spray to provide long-term protection and maintain building fabric insulation properties

Belzona recommends using Belzona 5122 (Clear Cladding Concentrate) for wall waterproofing. The material is a water-repellent and breathable treatment designed to protect masonry surfaces from water penetration without altering the natural appearance of the structures, as it becomes transparent when cured.

To apply the water repellent, Belzona 5122 (Clear Cladding Concentrate) thoroughly clean the surface to remove dirt, salt, efflorescence, or any foreign matter. Belzona 5122 is supplied in a concentrated form and must be diluted prior to application. Mix one liter of Belzona 5122 with nine liters of clean tap water in a bucket. Then, stir well to ensure that the material is completely dispersed. Next, liberally apply with either a long-bristled brush or low-pressure spray such that the progress is working up the wall. The cure time for the waterproofing brick system, Belzona 5122 (Clear Cladding Concentrate) depends on various environmental factors; however, under normal conditions, the material will dry within 2 hours. Please see the Instructions for Use (IFU) for more information.
