Description

A two-part epoxy, anti-slip coating designed for the creation and repair of safety grip systems on walking surfaces. Used in conjunction with Belzona Aggregates, this solvent-free, non-slip coating is ideal where slip reduction, adhesion, chemical or wear resistance are required.

Belzona 4411 (Granogrip) is easy to mix and can be applied manually without the need for specialist tools and will cure at room temperature, eliminating the need for hot work.

An anti-slip coating is an epoxy-based material with added aggregates to give texture to the coating, which allows for a surface with increased grip to prevent slipping.

The mixing ratio of the non-slip coating, Belzona 4411 (Granogrip) is 2.5:1 (Base: Solidifier) by weight and 2:1 (Base: Solidifier) by volume. In both instances, aggregates are added as desired. Please see the Product Specification Sheet (PSS) for more information.
To apply the 2-part epoxy resin, Belzona 4411 (Granogrip), the area must be clean, firm, and dry. In addition, it must be free of rust, paint, and other surface coatings and contaminants. After preparing the surface, lay out masking tape to give the outline of the required grip pattern. To mix the components, transfer approximately a quarter of the contents of the Belzona 4411 Solidifier can to the Belzona 4411 Base unit. Mix until a uniform consistency is achieved. Then, add the remainder of the Solidifier and mix thoroughly to a uniform material. Apply the Belzona 4411 directly onto the prepared surface with a stiff-bristled brush or with the plastic applicator provided. Next, immediately sprinkle the chosen Belzona Aggregate into the cured Belzona 4411 and press the Aggregate into the Belzona 4411 with a wooden block. Remove excess Aggregate by lightly sweeping over the system, which can be used again. Finally, remove the masking tape for a neat finish and allow the product to cure.
