Description

Belzona 4301 (Magma CR1 Hi-Build) is a 2-part chemical resistant epoxy repair material for long-term metal and concrete protection from a broad range of chemicals, especially concentrated inorganic acid and alkalis (e.g. nitric acid, sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide).

This paste-grade, metal repair material is ideally suited for rebuilding surfaces damaged as a result of chemical attack and for the repair of damaged chemical resistant linings. It can also be used for profiling and fairing rough surfaces prior to the application of a suitable Belzona coating.

This epoxy repair  material is easy to mix and apply without the need of specialist tools and cures at room temperature.

A 2-part epoxy can be used for various applications. Belzona epoxy materials can be used to repair and resurface metal, rubber, and concrete substrates.

To apply the repair composite, Belzona 4301 (Magma CR1 Hi-Build), the surface must be clean, firm, and dry. In addition, it must be free of rust, paint, and other surface coatings and contaminants. Condition the area using Belzona 4911 (Magma TX Conditioner). To mix the Belzona 4301 (Magma CR1 Hi-Build), transfer the entire contents of the Base and Solidifier tins onto a Belzona Working Surface. Mix thoroughly together with a plastic spatula to achieve a uniform material. Apply the mixed product directly onto the prepared surface with a short-bristled brush or plastic applicator. Press down firmly to fill cracks, remove entrapped air, and ensure maximum contact with the surface. If applicable, stipple Belzona 9341 (Reinforcement Tape) over cracks and holes. Finally, contour the material to the correct profile and allow it to cure. Please see the Instructions for Use (IFU) for more information.
