Description

Belzona 3111 (Flexible Membrane) is a single-component, liquid-applied roof waterproofing membrane for long-term roof protection with outstanding weatherproofing properties. This isocyanate-free roof coating will bond strongly to all types of roofing materials, following even complex roof contours, and will allow the surface to breathe due to its microporous structure. The applied system incorporates a reinforcement sheet to allow an easy control of the coating thickness during the application as well as adapting to roof movement due to its outstanding elasticity.

This water-based flexible membrane can be applied on almost any location including schools, hospitals and public buildings thanks to its low odour. It is certified by the BBA and has proven to provide excellent protection of roofs for in excess of 25 years.

The roof waterproofing membrane, Belzona 3111, works by allowing trapped moisture to escape from the surface due to its microporous structure. The product will also seal gaps and joints, preventing water and moisture from permeating.
The application of roof coating, Belzona 3111 (Flexible Membrane), depends on the substrate. Generally, the area must be sturdy, free of loose materials, and clean. Then, apply the product with either a soft-bristled brush, roller, or airless spray and allow it to dry thoroughly for 2-6 hours. The flexible membrane, Belzona 3111, will be water-resistant 60 minutes after application under good drying conditions. However, the time will be extended under cold or humid conditions.
