Description

Belzona 2311 (SR Elastomer) is a fast rubber repair polyurethane elastomer for high speed emergency repairs, rebuilding and coating of rubber components and metal surfaces. This flexible rubber repair material is designed for emergency and permanent applications where high build, durability, elasticity, high abrasion and tear resistance are required. This very fast cold-curing material is easy to mix and apply without the need for specialist tools and it cures at room temperature eliminating the need for hot work.

Damaged rubber can be repaired using polyurethane resins. Generally, the area must be degreased and abraded. Then, apply a coat of a conditioner such as Belzona 2911 (Elastomer QD Conditioner) or Belzona 2921 (Elastomer GP Conditioner) and let it dry. After, mix the Base and Solidifier of the product in use together in the mixing bowl provided. Next, apply the material with the plastic applicator or spatula provided. Finally, contour the material to the desired finish and allow it to cure. Please see the Instructions for Use (IFU) of the Belzona product in use for more information.
